Three deaths, 311 new COVID-19 cases in Palestine

A further 311 new coronavirus cases and three deaths have been recorded over the past 24 hours in Palestine, the Palestinian Health Ministry announced on Saturday.

Two deaths were reported in Surif city in the Hebron governorate and one death in Jerusalem.

The new coronavirus cases include: 46 in Hebron, 24 in Nablus, 12 in Bethlehem, 10 in Qalqilya, 48 in Ramallah and al-Bireh, nine in Jericho and al-Aghwar, five in Tulkarm, one in Salfit, two in Jenin, and 154 in Jerusalem including six in the suburbs.

The recovery cases included one in the Gaza Strip and 67 in Jerusalem.

The recovery rate stands at 62.1%, while the active cases rate is 37.3%, and the death rate is 0.6%.
